Maximize Your Dining Dollars in the NC Triangle
The restaurant and dining scene in the Triangle has been on a roll given the growth in the area over the past 10 years. From Neapolitan pizza to ramen, from Vietnamese to Southern fare, new restaurants are popping up left and right in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary and points beyond! So how can you find the best dining options in the area with all these new options? If you’re willing to drive a bit, I can guarantee you some great eats!
NC Triangle Dining is all about helping you find the hidden gems and providing an independent opinion on a hot, new restaurant. Focusing on the facts and food, not the hype. My goal is to make you feel like you’ve been there before and help you make a solid decision on where to eat tonight. And most importantly, avoid disappointments! With over 14 years of dining out extensively in the area, I’ve got an objective view on which restaurants are delivering a great experience and which places are worth your time.
If you don’t have an unlimited bank account, you have to choose wisely and according to your tastes. So my goal is to give you an honest feel for the dining experience at the many local, independent restaurants we have in the area. I’m not a PR professional, don’t solicit restaurant visits or collaborations or offer paid marketing services. And I am not involved in the restaurant industry which keeps me unbiased and transparent. Given the recent proliferation of food-based social media accounts and blogs, that’s an important difference. The majority of restaurant-dining content and social media that is currently produced is promotional and only shows you one side of the story.
Here’s how to find the the information you need on my blog! Find the newest restaurants and bars in the News area. Or check out my reviews by city: Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill-Carrboro. For my reviews, I try and stick to restaurants I’ve eaten at multiple times and have a good feel for. And while I do focus on independent, local establishments, occasionally a chain restaurant might slide in there.
And finally, any comp’ed events will be clearly called out as Media events for transparency. The only way you make a good decision with your dining dollar is by getting an unbiased opinion and I promise to do my best to deliver that honest opinion. Bon appetit, my friend!
