Bhel puri appetizer at Garland in Raleigh (December 20, 2015)
I’ve eaten at Garland a bunch of times but never tried this appetizer until recently when the owners sent it over as a comp’ed offering. And I know why they did because it’s wonderful! A delicious mix of crunchy noodles, jicama, peanuts, tamarind-mint sauce and more for a crunchy, tangy, fruity flavor explosion!

A fun rendition of a Korean classic: pear glazed Heritage Farms pork belly, butterhead lettuce, garlic chips, white kimchi, chili sauce, pickled shiitakes, Korean sticky rice. Wrap that meat up along with the sides and drizzle on warm sesame sauce and hot sauce, magic in your mouth!
